Skhron

The project's mission is to provide services such as federated protocols (E.g., Matrix, Activitypub) or other services for connecting technically-inclined overlay users with the wider internet, alongside encouraging file-sharing over overlays, some of the provided services are pay-to-enter (single time, nonrecurring fee/donation of any amount) as a way to both combat spam and fund the operation of the server(s) and the services, however the project is currently in its initial stages, as such some of the services are not being provided yet. The project firmly stands against the modern web, the HTTP protocol and friends have various techniques developed for data extraction; and tracking, so the use of it is considered a compromise, nonetheless only informational files like this one and providing services which have large user bases considered to be worthy of such compromise.

On-site frontends aren't provided as they're a source of security risks for the user, so bring your clients. and connection over overlays is mandated for client-to-server endpoints.

Global Terms of Service

Ⅰ. The project is not the place for "free speech absolutists", which forget the original concept behind "freedom of speech" (i.e., being free from state's compelled speech and against silencing legitimate concerns of its citizenry), in reality, advertising as a "free speech zone" would invite worst of the worst, the project is firmly aligns itself with modern idea of politeness and civility, that being said, there's a difference between having misguided views and being legitimately hateful, any usage of provided services for inciting violence against people with immutable characteristics (E.g., race; skin colour; sexual orientation; gender expression) or disseminating public or private information of a group or an individual without consent is strictly prohibited and will result in a deactivation, but potentially controversial discussions in proper places are allowed as long as it's done in good faith.

Ⅱ. Any usage of the services to promote; legitimise; provide apologetics for paedophilia (strictly as defined per DSM-5-TR and sensibly for anyone under 18), zoophilia, necrophilia or other similar paraphilias involving conscious or non-conscious being(s) will result in immediate deactivation, and complete disregard for any type of privacy for such user.

Ⅲ. Any type of discussion with accordance to the rules above regarding file-sharing is allowed, but the services shouldn't be used for distribution, sharing UR{I,L}s is permitted, failure to comply will result in a warning, repeated offence in a deactivation.

Ⅳ. Publishing content that's generated by a neural-network considered to be a form of spam as it wastes the resources on the server(s), therefore is subjected to a warning then deactivation depending on severity.

Ⅰ. Explicit rooms with moderators known to being inactive when receiving credible report (E.g., the age being stated in a public room with a unredacted linkable event, or a tip from trusted home-server owner) of a minor being present, depending on severity of the situation will result in deactivation or a warning.

Ⅱ. Users that have explicit imagery set as their global profile will be warned initially, failure to comply with a request to remove the offending profile picture will result in deactivation; similar for repeated offence, however said explicit imagery is allowed with consenting participants within clearly designated places.

Ⅰ. Users that have explicit imagery set as their global profile while not having their account marked as explicit (NSFW) will be deactivated on sight or upon report.

Ⅱ. Explicit imagery that's not properly spoilered and knowingly engaging in explicit behavior towards minors will result in either deactivation on sight or upon report or a warning will be provided depending on severity.

Annotation for Ⅱ: if you're a minor displaying affectionate behavior towards another minor, it's requested to use proper communication platforms with end-to-end encryption, as it should be nobody's business, such undesirable but understandable behavior will be treated on case-per-case basis.

Ⅲ. Due to largely public nature of ActivityPub, it's requested for users to engage extra respectably toward others when arguing and do not make false claims, cited reasonable arguments are allowed even if the argument is inconvenient towards user's view.
